Haruki Umeda is an athletic high school student who goes by the nickname Haru. His weakness (or is it his charm?) is his fear of heights, but Mr. Ozaki, a new teacher, introduces him to ski jumping. At first, his legs shake just standing at the top of the jumping ramp, but he starts to slowly fall in love with the sport. Experience sliding down a hill from an altitude of 100 meters and flying by yourself through the air through Haru’s eyes. Harujan is the story of Haru’s one and half months spent learning about ski jumping, and is the debut work of Chuya Koyama, renowned author of Space Brothers.
